Planet Trade Organization: Takoyaki

*Takoyaki opened the massive doors to Lord Kuriza's viewing chambers but was a bit surprised to find the young emperor absent. She went across the ship to his training area. Her lord was always training so intensely but with no discernible threat on the horizon -- no determined end goal; as if the single idea in mind were "Be stronger, just be stronger." She found tiny lord in the training room as she predicted, shattering enormous violet crystals of impossibly hard brialcium with screaming arcs of black and red lightning. "He's grown so much" she thought. She reflected back to when she first met her shining young lord when he was still growing in his chrysalis on his father's homeworld. After the deaths of Lord Freeza and King Cold on Earth, the Planet Trade Organization fell under attack from the competition early as news of their vulnerability spread. During the chaotic struggle, matters worsened when Saiyan Prince Vegeta began a vengeful rampage across the stars, further weakening the empire.*

Kuriza: Takoyaki, what are you doing up there?

Takoyaki: Admiring and reflecting my lord.

Kuriza: On the new recruits, or the battle on Mirari?

*she floats down to the arena floor to his level*

Takoyaki: On the history of the new empire. On how devastated and disorganized we were when Prince Vegeta attacked our main bases while your uncle was killed on Earth.

Kuriza: Yes, like my father and grandfather before him. If that isn't a sign to never go to that horrid world I don't know what is. Clearly a new Saiyan empire must have sprung up on the world. My family was obviously goaded into a trap. Oh well, message received correct? "Stay away from planet Earth." Fine by me, it's so far out of the way from anything else there would be no reason to go there in the first place.
 
Takoyaki: Yes my lord…but did you never have thoughts of revenge?

Kuriza:  No. No not anymore, though briefly I did. I always imagined I would make the trip to Earth eventually to punish the Saiyans for disgracing my family and wipe them out for good. Rather than rushing in there like my uncle, I decided to analyze why things happened the way they did. As we have discussed before, my father's demise was due to his complacency, overconfidence, and addiction to destruction. Being killed by a race he thought he destroyed was bound to happen sooner or later, by the Saiyans or someone else. It was inevitable, but the deaths of my grandfather and uncle were caused by a blind desire for revenge. So over time I've let it go. I've always had more pressing issues with maintaining my empire than hunting down the monkey prince that took vengeance upon my family.

Takoyaki: I was almost killed by the Saiyan Prince during his raid on Freeza Planet 115. I saw him with my own eyes.

Kuriza: My dear, you never spoke of this before.

Takoyaki: Yes Sire, it was what lead to my rise in rank so suddenly --Why I was so unprepared for leadership. I was assigned to guard highest ranking officer in the empire at that point. The Saiyan Prince was systematically targeting all leaders of the old regime and had followed our retreat to Freeza Planet 115. If only I had the strength back then that I had now, I would have blown him to ash without moving a finger…wouldn't have had to watch so many of my comrades die.

Kuriza: I don't think I've ever seen you so sentimental my darling.

Takoyaki: Many of those that perished that day I had fought beside for decades. Including Captain Plum. Vegeta brought the castle down is a ki inferno but I alone survived.

Kuriza: That beautiful shield technique of yours?
