Description
Rocket and Groot:
*Kuriza watched a large monitor showing progress on a current planet acquisition made by two bizarre soldiers he recognized but couldn't remember. The small one spoke to the frightened onlookers, "All you little inbred savages better listen up! My colleague and I are only gonna say this once so listen good! This planet is now under the ownership of Lord Kuriza. If any of you waddling half-brains gotta problem with that we'll put craters where you and your houses currently are. Capiche?" "I AM GROOT!" the tall one concurred. The puzzled Kuriza was relieved when Takoyaki walked in.*
Kuriza: Takoyaki, thank heavens. Explain what the hell I'm watching.
Takoyaki: Oh, I believe those are the bounty hunters that we integrated a year ago. Let me pull up the file…
Kuriza: Bounty hunters? I definitely recognize them --how could I not? But I don't remember adding them to our forces. Did we take their planet since then or something?
Takoyaki: No sir, this says they have no planet they associate themselves with as a homeworld and that they were hired out of "promising potential."
Kuriza: "Promising potential?" I said that? A tree and a rodent?
Takoyaki: Yes Lord, and this was apparently their first mission since then.
Kuriza: What have they been doing this whole time?
Takoyaki: Training. The small mammal named Rocket took to martial arts and flying fairly quickly but had trouble with offensive ki manipulation, hence the large ki cannon, meanwhile the plant creature named Groot had the exact opposite problem.
Kuriza: They look more like some sort of comedy act than an elite fighting team. *sigh* I imagine they must have improved correct? Otherwise we wouldn't have let them into the field?
Takoyaki: Yes they have overcome their initial issues since then, but Rocket still seems to prefer using the ki enhancing blaster to focus his techniques and Groot is still a bit slower than desirable for one of our soldiers. At least he can quickly regenerate and survive attacks that would normally be fatal to a stronger warrior.
Kuriza: Very peculiar. It's just so comical isn't it? The tiny one has the big mouth and the big one barely speaks.
Takoyaki: And when he does, he can apparently only say "I am Groot," sir.
Kuriza: Uggh, just like those Pokemon all over again.
